Darnell has been playing the keyboards for 25 years he is the youngest boy of three brothers and four sisters Darnell was born in Akron Ohio and left home at the age of 16 to enter Job Corps in Indianapolis Indiana later he join the United States Army National Guard and did a two year term after which he started playing keyboards for local bands in Indianapolis Indiana and became a renown keyboardist in the city of Indianapolis, during Darnell’s music career he has shared the stage with professional musicians such as (War, After 7, Babyface & L.A. and has performed at the Indianapolis Indiana Convention Center for the Indianapolis Black Expo where his band won the talent competition awards, Darnell has took his talent to playing classical piano for the Indiana Mall and Gospel music for several local churches, Darnell moved to California and began to further his career in the music business by forming his own group which is now (The Jazz Xperience) they have performed in several venues in Pasadena CA. and is now in the process of recording their first CD project, the title of the Cd is (A NEW DAY IS COMING) this album was titled this because of Darnell’s up and downs in life his dreams are now coming true, for the first time in his life he sees his turn coming and has dedicated this album to all alcoholics and drug addicts throughout the world, Darnell is a great song writer and intends to begin writing music for other professional musicians throughout. Darnell’s hero’s in music and inspiration came from such great musicians such as Herbie Hancock, Chic Korea, Ray Charles ,Ramsey Lewis, Billy Cobham, Darnell’s Goal is to produce and release his first album and release it with a major Jazz Record Label, and he does not intend to stop until his turn comes and his dreams come true.

Lamar Barnes the 2nd born and raised in Akron Ohio the oldest of eight siblings started playing music at a very young age as his father did Lamar’s father was a great piano player but passed away at a early age because of his Alcohol abuse leaving Lamar to tend to his siblings as the man of the house leading them in the right direction his first instruments was the piano, Congo’s and the drums playing percussions was his hobby and he loved music Lamar Graduated from Buchtel High School in Akron Ohio and went into the United State Navy where he spent 20 years of his life defending the United States of America doing that time Lamar found interest in the bass guitar and began to train his self, as time went on his skills got better and now playing the Bass for sometime now Lamar has made a name for him self on the bass guitar and has had the opportunity to perform and play on the same stage with such great artist such as the Average White Band, The Gap Band, and opened a concert for the well known gospel group the Jackson Southerneers. Lamar has played the Gospel circuit for many years and is now playing with his little Brother Darnell in the Jazz Xperience , a dream has come true for Lamar being able to play with his little brother as they both shoot for the stars in the music industry
Writing and creating smooth jazz together is a recipe for success, Lamar has played the jazz circuit in Pasadena with his little brother and was inspired by great musicians such as Stanley Clark,. Lamar is now in the process of working on his first CD project with the Jazz Xperience and looking forward to a long term contract with major recording label .being the oldest brother in his family Lamar states that his dream is to leave a legacy for his family and grand children and he is well on his way in fulfilling his dream.
KENNY WILLIAMS

Kenny Williams born and raised in Newberry South Carolina the middle child of his three sisters and two brothers inspired by his Grand dad Kenny started playing guitar at a young age and has been playing guitar for 30 years doing that time Kenny spent 11 years of his life defending the country in the United States Navy and is now pursuing his career as a professional guitar player in the music industry, his smooth jazz and blues style playing creates and unique sound and he has inspired the lives of many doing his career in the music business Kenny has had the opportunity to share the stage with professional Recording Artist such as The Gap Band, The Average White Band and opened up for the Jackson Southerenairs .Kenny has performed and been active in studio work with guitar tracks and is now recording and playing with the Jazz Xperience, Kenny dream is to play music for a living doing live tour’s and concerts all over the world sharing his creativity and dream with others creating smooth jazz music to make a difference in the world he believes that good music is good for the soul and helps you relax ,the amazing sound of his guitar playing will reach the world and give hope and courage with an impact of believing that you can do anything if you try hard enough Kenny says there is nothing that is not reachable ,but you must take the first step and reach for it and it will fall in your hands.

KEENAN SELICO

Keenan Selico born and raised in Los Angeles Ca. has been playing the drums sense his high school years, performing with his local class mates in various local bands fine tuning his talent and skills on the skins. Keenan is the youngest of three siblings two brothers and one sister in which the gift and talent of playing the drums landed on him and his brother Professional Drummer Ron Selico who has played with some of the great musicians of all time such as Sam Cook, God Father Of Soul James Brown, the fabulous Tina Turner and the worlds funniest comedian the late Great Richard Prier, Keenan is taking the same road his brother has and has become a renowned drummer in the state of California and has shared the stage and the studio with many great Artist and musicians such as Don Julian and the Meadowlarks, Organist Leon Haywood group and the one and only Singer/Songwriter Etta James, Keenan has had the privilege to record with Singer Frank Turner and his band and was able to record with the original Jazz Crusaders , Keenan has also shared the studio and had the privilege to perform with such Great Artist as Pianist Joe Sample, Trombonist Wayne Henderson, Saxophonist Wilton Fielder and Percussionist Pat Crouch of Motown. Keenan is now playing the drums with his own band the Jazz Xperience and has just finished a collaboration of music with his smooth jazz album (Its My Turn Now) to be released next spring. Keenan continues to perfect his talent and playing the drums is his dream come true he was inspired by Professional drummers such as Billy Cobham & Linney White .Keenan is furthering his education on the drums and is enrolled in California State College in Pasadena where he performs with the mass orchestra, excited about his first L.P. project Keenan will hit the music industry with his smooth jazz style of playing and is headed for great success in the music industry.

Guy E. Barnes, the son of Lamar Barnes (bass player) and nephew of Darnell Barnes, is not just a chip off the family block, but a music enthusiast by his own right. The young horn player has been playing horns since the age of 10 and is now a music major at ca. state university Fresno class of 2011. After obtaining his bachelors degree. he plans is to go for his master and become a music teacher or performance musician which ever comes first. a high school graduate of Lemoore high, he was the only and first student to make the Cal. state band 6years in row and sit in the number one seat as a baronets 3 years. He was drum major for his high school and Fresno state as a sophomore. His resume is so huge that it would take an encyclopedia of words to tell all of his music accolades. He enjoys playing his horns especially with his dad and uncle whenever he gets a chance. What horns do he play? Trumpet, trombone, flute, euphonium, French horn, just to name a few. his young lady is an all-star when it comes to playing the Oboe Horn Amanda has been into music all of her life playing on the big stage with the Salvation Army Orchestra, and working with the Local Pasadena Salvation Army praise team ( Impact )who has produced several Projects, spending her time as a College girl Amanda has mastered her talent and skills and is looking forward to bringing the Oboe horn to the forefront on the music scene, she was discovered by Darnell Barnes when he heard her play at one of the praise and worship services and ask her to perform on the New release Album ( A New Day Is Coming ) she is Featured on several songs and gives the Album A touch of class. Amanda is a very strong Christian and out going person and intends to continue playing music for the world and telling people about how good God is. Her goal in life is to make an impact on the world by the way she lives, and a story comes from her horn just listen
